MAMAIA SEASIDE 2011

Mamaia is a summer resort on the western shore of the Black Sea. It is situated in the northern city of Constanta, Romania.

The main attractions are the Holiday Village Mamaia, amusement park Aqua Magic and the gondola. Radio Vacanta is the resort’s radio station which issues every year from May to October since 1966 in five languages (Romanian, English, French, German and Russian) in all resorts on the Romanian Black Sea coast. Every year during summer, Festivalul Muzicii Usoarel takes place from Mamaia.

EFORIE NORD SUMMER 2011

Eforie Nord, the second biggest resort, is a resort with spa treatment times. In the south-west is Lake Techirghiol, known for its curative properties of sludge, so the recreational tourism is combined with the spa. Beach resort, about 3km long and reach widths of 20-100m, bordered in the north of the resort from a cliff 30 meters. Entry into the sea is smooth in some places with sand, sometimes with sand and small stones, the beach being covered with sand.

VENUS SEASIDE SUMMER 2011

Venus, named after the goddess of beauty resort, is located between Saturn and Jupiter - Cap Aurora. In Venus, the resort hotels wearing almost exclusively girl names are surrounded by a sea of green, the main feature of this location on our coast. In the resort you have the the possibility of taking mud baths on the shores of Lake Venus, in an organized framework. Otherwise the resort is quiet and has enough recreational opportunities.

SATURN SUMMER 2011

Saturn beach and Mangalia beach lies between that of Venus. Southern beach (for Mangalia) is composed by numerous coves artificially created, with relatively easy access but smaller width of the beach that causes crowding in the area for those who are staying in nearby hotels. The north reaches large widths (100-150m) resembling the Mamaia beach and extends to Venus on a 2 km distance and is the best beach in the area.

JUPITER SEASIDE SUMMER 2011

Jupiter is a small resort, near lake and forest Comorova Tismana. Jupiter Beach Resort is about 1 km long and continuous that of Neptun. It is fragmented by numerous creeks and dams that give a cross laced aspect of this portion of coastline. Jupiter is a new resort, opened in early 1970. Jupiter has a high capacity base accommodation, mostly hotels of three stars, placed perpendicular to the shoreline, some construction being modern.

NEPTUN SEASIDE SUMMER 2011

Neptune is one of the finest and most luxurious resorts on the Romanian coast. Olimp, whose construction was completed in 1972, is the northernmost district of the Neptun resort.

Neptun is located in south-eastern Romania, in an area with a relatively high vegetation, the Comorova forest on the Black Sea Coast, 7 km north of Mangalia city and 38 km from Constanta.

OLIMP SEASIDE SUMMER 2011

Olimp Resort is one of the most requested resorts on the Romanian coast, located in Neptun’s extend these two are considered one resort, due to small distance between these two. Olimp resort is a relatively young (1972), the beach is more special: the southern part of the narrow, with a high cliff which offers a wonderful panorama on the Black Sea and the northern part is wider, fragmented in many artificial coves. Next follows a wild portion with a relative rich vegetation, mainly frequented by nudists, the beach being unorganized. The accommodation includes both recent redecorated hotels, hostels or rooms and apartments in blocks, of locals who offer to rent, for relatively small amounts.

COSTINESTI SEASIDE SUMMER 2011

Costinesti, also called the capital of summer vacation, lies 31 km south of Constanta on the Black Sea and is bordered to the south of the village 23 August, north of the village of Tuzla and the eastern Black Sea. Access in Constanta, could be by rail (station is located at 2km from the resort) and a halt which is right in the resort and as well as the coastal road (DN39, E87) going to Mangalia; at km 27 a left branch (4km) leads to the village and, respectively, to the resort. Before entering in Costinesti (1300 inhabitants) and in the resort, on the right side are the houses of the Schitu village with a population of 1,800 inhabitants, where there is a camp with 200 seats, for children.
